All necessary equipment is provided, and young people are regularly supported into local sporting teams as a result of their involvement in this program. This program is run in partnership with other local community organisations. Funding for these programs is provided by Multicultural Youth Services ACT.


Harrison School

Monday 3.00-5.30pm during school terms.

Sports: After school sports including futsal, basketball, and touch football.

Regularly involving staff representatives from Multicultural Youth Services, Harrison School, The Smith Family, Y-Engage, Barnardos, and YouthCare Canberra. Young people who do not attend the host school are welcome.


Namadgi School

Tuesday 3.00-5.00pm during school terms.

Sports: Futsal, basketball, and touch football.

Regularly involving staff representatives from Woden Community Service, The Smith Family, and Namadgi School. Young people who do not attend the host school are welcome following approval from Canberra PCYC and the host school.


Melba Copland Secondary School High School Campus

Wednesday 3.00-5.00pm during school terms.

Sports: Futsal.

Regularly involving staff representatives from Multicultural Youth Services and Belconnen Community Service.


Melba Copland Secondary School College Campus

Wednesday 5.00-7.00pm during school terms.

Sports: Futsal.

Regularly involving staff representatives from Belconnen Community Service. Young people who do not attend the host school are welcome.


Kingsford Smith School

Thursday 3.00-5.00pm during school terms.

Sports: Futsal, basketball, hockey, and touch football.

Regularly involving staff representatives from Multicultural Youth Services and Kingsford Smith School. Young people who do not attend the host school are welcome following approval from Canberra PCYC and the host school.
