Canberra PCYC awarded for 'Innovation in Service Delivery' at the YOGIES 2017

We're so proud of our team for being awarded the 'Innovation in Service Delivery' Award at the YOGIES 2017 for the Intensive Diversion Program (IDP)!

Piloted in 2016, the IDP is a 20-week program providing education, case management, anger management, relationship education, recreation and a range of experiences and supports to ensure that disadvantaged and high-needs young people aged 12.5-16 years, receive the best opportunity to build positive futures for themselves and their families.

Funding for the IDP is provided by our partner ACT Policing. We are proud of the significant engagement that ACT Policing provides on the IDP and across our programs.

The Annual Yogie Awards (the YOGIES) by the Youth Coalition of the ACT, recognise, celebrate, promote and reward outstanding practice in working with young people in the ACT and surrounding area. The YOGIES highlight the exceptional commitment, talent and innovation that exist in the youth sector.

The YOGIES were presented by the ACT Minister for Children and Young People Rachel Stephen-Smith.
